Yvonne Nelsons definition of beauty in Africa has made lots of women, even light skinned women do something called “toning of the skin”, meaning, making sure the light skin stays and don’t get burnt by the scorching sun in Ghana/Africa.

Being light skinned rules in Ghana and even most parts of Africa and many people would attest to that fact. Not long ago, we gave you Ghanaian celebrities who have either toned their skin or bleached it (LIST HERE). Actress Vicky Zugah went on radio to confirm that being light skinned is an advantage that usually gets female actresses movie roles. Of course we know Juliet Ibrahim also won actress of the year at an award show this year … yes, you heard us right *LOL*

Our shocker of the day is gospel singer, Ama Boahemaa who sang popular gospel hit song “Makoma” and other several hit songs like Awurade Woba Eko, Maba etc. some years back. We saw a picture of her and the transformation is huge to the extent that many people will never believe it’s her.

She was on radio to talk about her journey and the new her, will amaze you. Welcome to OMGGhana.Com, in case you haven’t heard about us already :) . Feast your eyes and let us know what you have to say about this.
