"Failed NPP parliamentary aspirant Philip Addison has said recent developments in the party makes"
Failed NPP parliamentary aspirant Philip Addison has said recent developments in the party makes it difficult to strike the difference between the Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition and the ruling NDC.
According to him, it is baffling that the very issues the party petitioned the Supreme Court over after the 2012 elections are being practiced in the party.
Addison who was the NPP’s lead lawyer for the election petition case was heavily defeated in the Korle Klottey primary by former constituency chairman Nii Noi Nortey.
He polled 22 votes as against the winner’s 393.
Speaking to Moro Awudu on Accra-based Radio XYZ Monday, the astute lawyer said everything about the Sunday polls was fraudulent.
“I was saddened that the very matters we as a party have been complaining about over the years were being practiced avidly. The very matters we took to the Supreme Court, the issues we complained about were being meted out to some of us.
“It’s very difficult to recognise the NPP now, the party that I have known for these years. The difference between the NDC and NPP is very blur because of the activities of certain people,” Addison bemoaned.
