[Watch Live] Vetting Chaos Committee holds first public hearing

Parliament’s Special Committee, tasked with investigating the disturbances that occurred during the Appointments Committee sittings on Thursday, January 30, and Friday, January 31, has commenced its first public hearing.

The seven-member committee, chaired by Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah, Member of Parliament for Ho West, is expected to investigate the incident and submit its findings within 10 days.

Chairman Bedzrah emphasized that the committee’s mandate is not to target or witch-hunt any Member of Parliament or members of the public.

Instead, he called on individuals with multimedia footage of the chaos to submit it to the committee to aid in their investigation.
