The incident occurred on Thursday, August 13, 2026, according to the Police.
In a brief statement, the Ghana Police Service said its officers intervened to foil the robbery attempt at the bank.
“Two suspects have been gunned down and one has been arrested,” the Police said.
The Police say further details about the identities of the suspects and the circumstances surrounding the attempted robbery will be communicated in due course.
