According to the veteran actor, President Mahama is doing what other African leaders are expected to do.
He therefore urged other presidents across the continent to take a cue from his leadership.
“Mahama is the best in Africa. He is doing what other presidents are supposed to do, let them copy him; the man is good,” he declared.
The Nollywood actor made the remarks while on set in Ghana, where he is currently part of a star-studded Nigerian cast working on a new movie with Ghanaian actor and filmmaker Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as LilWin.
The movie, A Journey to Africa, is being shot at Nzulezu in Ghana’s Western Region and features several prominent actors from both Ghana and Nigeria.
During their time on set, LilWin told the Nigerian stars that he would have taken them to the Flagstaff House, the presidential office, to meet President Mahama if not for the distance between Nzulezu and Accra.
He, however, promised to facilitate a meeting between the actors and President Mahama when they return to Ghana for the premiere of the movie.
The production has brought together several notable Nollywood stars, including Kanayo O Kanayo, Patience Ozokwo, Mike Ezuruonye, Charles Awurum, Zubby Michael, Destiny Etiko and Harry Anyanwu.
The collaboration marks another major cross-border production between the Ghanaian and Nigerian film industries, with some of Nigeria’s biggest movie stars currently in Ghana to work on LilWin’s upcoming international movie, Journey to Africa (Nzulezu).
