It seems Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has still not come to terms with his arrest and detention by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), as the musician has once again taken a swipe at the institution.

One may recall that in 2025, Shatta Wale was arrested by EOCO over claims that his yellow Lamborghini was acquired with proceeds from fraudulent activities.

Following his arrest and detention, the dancehall artiste has, on several occasions during his stage performances, taken a swipe at EOCO.

In a recent development, the artiste, during his much-anticipated ShattaFest concert at the Accra Sports Stadium on October 17, 2026, once again lambasted the government, EOCO and the FBI.

While performing, Shatta Wale paused his stage performance and raised concerns about how he was arrested over allegations that he purchased his yellow Lamborghini with proceeds from fraudulent activities.

The dancehall musician began by claiming that Ghana is not a serious country, adding that he is not a fraudster but has a lot of friends who are allegedly involved in the activity.

Shatta Wale explained that he is not a snitch and, therefore, would not give information about his friends whom he claims are fraudsters.

The musician further advised his fans and music lovers that Ghana lacks the opportunities needed to help the youth and, therefore, if young people want to engage in fraudulent activities, they should go ahead.

“Ghana is a fucking country. I have been doing music for about 25 years; I have bought a Rolls Royce, a Lamborghini, all from my fucking music. And someone will say Shatta Wale is committing fraud.

“Let me tell you today that I have a lot of fraudsters as my friends, but I am not a snitch to snitch on them. And the country isn't even good, so if you would be a fraudster, continue,” he said.

Shatta Wale additionally noted that ever since he was arrested and detained, he had not been at peace, adding that he would not hesitate to join Ghanaians to fight against the government if the need arose.

He further advised Ghanaians to consider finding another individual who could make the youth feel comfortable, since, according to him, the country's leaders had refused to listen to their concerns.

“I do dream of prison, and it's because of music; they jailed me, and when I think about that thing, I do get angry. If the government wants to fight you, I will ensure that we both will fight the government.

“It's about time our old men who run the system and think they are in the offices should try and help us; otherwise, we will help ourselves and look for our own president who will rule Ghana.”

Shatta Wale, while expressing his grievances, also raised concerns about the government allowing the FBI to arrest some Ghanaians over alleged fraudulent activities.

He also urged the youth to look for money no matter what it takes.

“We know plenty of countries where things are going on, but only in Ghana, they are bringing the FBI, wossop? If you had done something better for us, do you think boys would commit fraud?

“Badman, wherever you are, look for your money, protect yourselves, and when they come, brush them. If the government won't find work for us, we will look for one,” he added.
