Asamoah Gyan and Former Black Stars Players Grace Launch of Kick Nation Sports Agency

Kick Nation Sports Agency, a Ghanaian-owned sports management and talent development hub, has officially launched with a mission to transform the discovery and promotion of football talent in the country.

Founded by Wunnam Haruna, the agency aims to identify, nurture, and prepare promising players from the grassroots to the professional level.

With a focus on technical, tactical, and psychological development, Kick Nation aims to equip young athletes with the tools to excel in competitive football while also guiding their career paths.

The colourful launch event, held at Silicon House Production in Accra, was graced by Ghana’s all-time top scorer Asamoah Gyan alongside former Black Stars players Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, Fatau Dauda, Baffour Gyan, and Joseph Paintsil.

Also present were renowned football agent Oliver Arthur, respected journalists Michael Oti Adjei, Gary Al-Smith, Owuraku Ampofo, Courage Dzide, among others.

Media and sports personality Baba Sadiq and broadcaster Dr Ernest Koranteng were unveiled as Special Advisors to the agency.

Speaking at the launch, CEO Wunnam Haruna stressed that Kick Nation is more than just a sports agency.

Kick Nation has already partnered with Steadfast United in the Division One League and Karela United in the Ghana Premier League, providing players with competitive platforms for growth.

Beyond local ties, the agency has also established international connections with clubs in Europe and Africa, creating opportunities for training camps, exchange programs, and global scouting.

According to Haruna, discussions are also underway to develop top-tier football structures in Ghana that will align with global standards.

The launch of Kick Nation adds to the growing number of private sports initiatives complementing the work of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in player development.

The agency’s long-term vision is to groom world-class footballers who can compete at the highest level while contributing to the growth of Ghana football.

Kick Nation’s arrival signals a new chapter for young Ghanaian talents, offering mentorship, exposure, and structured opportunities to build sustainable football careers both at home and abroad.
