Ghana TVET Service launches 2026 nationwide recruitment for teaching and non-teaching staff — Deadline May 22
The Ghana Technical and Vocational Education and Training Service (GTVETS) has launched its 2026 nationwide recruitment exercise, inviting applications from suitably qualified Ghanaians for both teaching and non-teaching positions across the country.

The recruitment, which commenced on Friday, May 8, 2026, follows financial clearance granted to the Service by the Ministry of Finance, and is being conducted in collaboration with the Public Services Commission.

The exercise covers a wide range of roles across two broad categories.

Teaching staff positions include Senior Tutor/Facilitator, requiring a minimum of a Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, Education, or Social Sciences, alongside a professional qualification in Education and at least one year of post-Bachelor's work experience. Tutor positions require a minimum Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, or a related field, plus a professional qualification in Education.

Non-teaching staff positions span a broad spectrum, including Administrative Managers and Assistant Managers, Senior Assistants, Matrons and Assistant Matrons, Catering staff at various grades, Security Guards, Drivers, and Cleaners/Labourers. Requirements vary by role, ranging from BECE and WASSCE qualifications for entry-level positions to Master's degrees for senior administrative and catering management roles.

All applicants must possess relevant academic and professional qualifications and be willing to serve in any part of the country. Candidates must also have completed National Service where applicable, and will be required to pass competitive selection interviews.

How to Apply

Applications can be submitted in person by picking up and returning forms at the Ghana TVET Service Headquarters, located at 44 Boundary Road, East Legon, Accra, or online via the Service's accredited third-party platform at https://tvets.organiseteam.com.

The deadline for all submissions is Friday, May 22, 2026.

The Ghana TVET Service has cautioned the public against making payments to individuals claiming to offer assistance with the recruitment process, describing its process as transparent, merit-based, and equitable.
