The Tema Regional Police Command has arrested four students of Ada Senior High Technical School after a disturbing video surfaced online showing a student wielding a cutlass and allegedly threatening other students on campus.
According to a police statement issued on May 22, 2026, the incident came to the attention of the police around 12:10 a.m. after the video was intercepted on social media.
The statement noted that a police night patrol team was immediately dispatched to the school to intervene.
With assistance from school authorities, police arrested three identified suspects; Raymond Gyamfi, 18, Oscar Amemoair, 18, and Odartey Wilson, 18 together with one juvenile who also appeared in the video.
Police say the suspects are currently in custody assisting with investigations.
The Tema Regional Police Command urged students to resolve disagreements peacefully through established school structures and avoid acts of violence and intimidation.
The police also called on parents and school authorities to strengthen supervision, guidance and discipline among students to help maintain safety and order in schools.
The Command assured the public that investigations are ongoing and further updates will be communicated in due course.
