'If any nude photo of Florence leaks, hold Obinim responsible’ - Ola Michael

Ola made the remarks on his show on Neat FM on September 14, 2026, while reacting to a purported leaked audio recording in which Bishop Obinim claimed to have installed CCTV cameras in the bedrooms of his children and Florence.

The media personality dismissed Bishop Obinim’s explanation that the CCTV cameras were installed to help identify burglars who had allegedly been breaking into their home.

Ola described Obinim’s explanation as unconvincing, arguing that it might not even be true that burglars had been breaking into the home.

He reiterated that should any nude images or videos of Florence emerge online, authorities would know who could be responsible for leaking them, insisting that nobody installs CCTV cameras in a bedroom.

Ola Michael further described the estranged relationship between Obinim and Florence, suggesting that the preacher had treated his ex-wife like a slave and was now angry that she had chosen to leave the relationship.

“This is what he is trying to make us understand. It is like a slave and a slave master. By God’s grace, the slave has gained their freedom, but the slave master is angry that the slave has been freed,” he explained.

In previous days, the leader of the International God’s Way Church rained a series of curses on Ola Michael after the media personality first reported on the ongoing divorce between the preacher and Florence.

Ola had reported that a family member of Bishop Obinim had informed him about the couple’s divorce.

In the purported audio recording, Obinim was heard using water, air and other elements while invoking curses on the journalist over the report.

“The person who said that my relative informed him that I happily took the drinks; | leave the person to God. As I pour this oil on the floor, may God deal with Ola. I invoke curses on him if he comes into contact with the wind and water.

“He will suffer. He should have reported the issue as hearsay. He shouldn't have said my relative informed him,” Obinim said.
