A colourful procession of chiefs, queen mothers, traditional warriors, and priests has begun in the historic city of Cape Coast ahead of the annual grand durbar of the Oguaa Fetu Afahye Festival.
The traditional leaders, adorned in resplendent Kente, gold ornaments, and centuries-old beads, rode high in elaborately decorated palanquins. The procession started from Mfantsipim School and wound through the streets, captivating the thousands of cheering residents and tourists who lined the route.
