Vice-President leads delegation to console Konadu family
Vice-President Jane Opoku-Agyemang has led a government delegation to the residence of the late Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings to sympathize with the family after news of her death.

“This afternoon, I led a government delegation to the residence of the late Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, to commiserate with her family following the unfortunate news of her passing,” she said in post sighted by MyNewsGh.

According to her, the visit was done on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama.

“We undertook the visit on behalf of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama, who is currently out of the country on an urgent assignment.”

The Vice-President called for unity and solemn reflection as the country mourns the former First Lady. “It is important that we remain solemn, united, and respectful as we mourn a remarkable woman whose life and legacy have left an indelible mark on our nation.”

She extended prayers to the bereaved family, wishing them comfort during their loss.
“I pray for God’s strength and comfort for the entire family during this difficult time. It is our collective duty to honour her memory and to ensure she receives a befitting send-off.”

“May her soul rest in perfect peace,” she added.
