World Cup 2026: Black Stars will need to strengthen their technical capacity—Sports Minister
Sports Minister Kofi Adams has acknowledged that the Black Stars will need to strengthen their technical capacity going into the 2026 World Cup.

According to him, the World Cup is not like the qualifying series and therefore will need technical brains that can help Ghana compete at that level.

He explains that they continue to monitor what the people of Ghana are saying and will analyze and decide on the next line of action before the 2026 World Cup.

“Ghanaians are speaking, we are taking notes of what they are saying. The president was elected by all Ghanaians to be the president, and he has given me some mandate to manage the sports sector on behalf of the people, and so we cannot do it without listening to what the people are also saying,” he stated.

He continued “So we will listen to the people, add all that analyze and we will ultimately take a decision. Whatever it is, whether it is Otto Addo or not Otto Addo we need to strenghten our technical capacity going into the world cup”.
