Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has shared his thoughts following Ghana’s placement in Group L of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The draw, held in Washington D.C., produced several eye-catching matchups, with Ghana set to face England, Croatia and Panama as they embark on their fifth World Cup appearance.
Speaking after the draw, Otto Addo expressed confidence in his team’s ability to compete against any opponent, despite the group’s difficulty.
“We want to win every match, that’s for sure. If we start well, anything is possible,” he told 3Sports. “On a good day, I know we can beat anyone — but I also know we can lose to any of these teams, including Panama, if we underrate them.”
England’s campaign will begin with a rematch of their 2018 World Cup semifinal clash against Croatia on Wednesday, June 17, in either Dallas or Toronto, setting the tone for what promises to be a competitive Group L.
