The National Service Authority (NSA) has assured service personnel across the country that the payment of their September 2025 service allowance will be effected soon, as the necessary administrative processes are nearing completion.
In a public notice issued on Thursday, November 6, 2025, and signed by Deputy Director-General for Finance and Administration, Donkor Fuseini, the Authority acknowledged the concerns of personnel regarding the delay in payment of their allowance.
NSA confirmed that all necessary documentation needed for the release of the funds have been completed and the Authority is awaiting final approval from the Accountant-General.
“We appreciate your patience and understanding as the processes are actively ongoing. The Directorate of Finance and Administration has confirmed that all necessary documentation and submissions have been completed and are currently with the Office of the Accountant-General for final approval and release of funds,” the statement read.
The NSA assured all personnel that payment would be made immediately after approval from the Office of the Accountant-General and reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the timely disbursement of allowances in the future.
“We value your service to the nation and encourage all personnel to remain calm as we work closely with the relevant stakeholders to resolve this matter promptly,” the statement added.
The Authority’s clarification comes after several national service personnel took to social media to express concern over the delay in receiving their September stipends.
