Police declare manhunt for suspect in series of murders in Upper East Region
The Ghana Police Service has launched a nationwide manhunt for Mark Agingre, a native of Binduri in the Upper East Region, over his alleged involvement in a string of gruesome murders.

According to a statement shared on the Police’s official social media page, Agingre is wanted in connection with multiple killings across the Binduri District and nearby communities.

The most recent incident occurred on November 7, 2025, when a man, his wife, and their three children were murdered in cold blood.

Another child who survived the attack is currently in critical condition at the Bolgatanga Government Hospital.

Investigators further suspect Agingre’s involvement in an earlier killing on October 27, 2025, in which an elderly man and his two children were found dead in Binduri.

Police believe these may be part of a series of targeted homicides linked to the same suspect.

To aid in his capture, the Police have announced a GH₵1 million reward for anyone who provides credible information leading to his arrest.
