What to expect in Parliament this week

Ghana’s legislature will this week welcome 6 ministers to answer questions posed by members of the house.

Although the names of the said ministers have not been made public, Parliament, in a post shared via social media, indicated that the questions are pertinent to national development.

Apart from the ministers appearing, the parliament is expected to continue the debate on the floor on the 2026 budget presented by the finance minister.

On Wednesday, November 26, 2025, leaders of both sides of the house will present their concluding remarks on the budget.

The 2026 budget has been debated on rigourously by both sides of the house with its shortfalls and high points identified.
