Kumasi High Court to rule on Akosua Serwaa and Daddy Lumba’s marriage case today
A Kumasi high court will today, Friday, November 28, rule on the alleged civil marriage case between the late Charles Kwadwo Fosu, also known as Daddy Lumba, and Akosua Serwaah Fosu.

The case presided over by Her Ladyship Dorinda Smith Arthur will help decide on who has the right to widowhood.

The landmark case will help put to rest the drama surrounding Daddy Lumba’s death and his funeral.

A total of five witnesses from all parties in the case, made up of three from the plaintiff (Mrs Akosua Serwaa Fosu) team, and one each from the first defendant (Abusua Panin Kofi Owusu), and the second defendant (Priscilla Ofori) team, testified in the case.

Meanwhile, Baba Jamal and Associates, lawyers of the late Daddy Lumba, have dispelled reports suggesting that they represent Odo Broni.

According to them, they are lawyers for the family of the late musician and in no way represent Odo Broni in the case.

Baba Jamal and Associates were Daddy Lumba’s Lawyers before he passed on and are the ones protecting his estate.
