Your contribution to food security and national dev’t commendable—Bawumia celebrates farmers

Former Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has appreciated the work of farmers in Ghana.

In a post shared via social media appreciating their contributions to Ghana, the former vice president acknowledged the role they play in contributing to food security, national development, and economic growth.

“I celebrate all farmers in Ghana for their immense contribution to food security, national development, and economic growth,” he said.

Ghana will today celebrate Farmers Day across the country.

The main event is expected to take place at the Volta Regional capital, Ho where farmers will be appreciated for their immense support to national development.
