Out of this number, 156 beneficiaries who are petty traders received financial support to strengthen and expand their businesses. The remaining 16 individuals were provided with essential assistive devices, including wheelchairs, hearing aids, and other aids to help make their daily activities easier and more dignified.
I encouraged all those who received financial support to use the money wisely and invest it in their businesses. It is not “free money,” but a seed that, if nurtured well, will grow to uplift their lives. As a District Assembly, we would have wished to give more, but even the little received can bring great change when used well.
To those who received assistive devices, I also appealed to you to take good care of them so they can serve you for a long time.
I was deeply touched by the joy and appreciation expressed by the beneficiaries. Their determination to put the support to good use is truly inspiring. Together, we will continue building a district where no one is left behind and everyone has the opportunity to live a better life.
Nadowli-Kaleo is moving forward—and we are doing it together.
