Constitution Review Committee to present its final report to President Mahama today – Kwakye Ofosu
The Minister of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has announced that the Constitution Review Committee will be presenting its final report to President John Dramani Mahama today, Monday, December 22.

Mr Kwakye Ofosu announced this and other events scheduled to happen this week on his Facebook page.

“A busy week to wrap up the year. At 11 am this morning, the Attorney-General and Minister for Justice returns to the Government Accountability Series to unveil details of an investigation into a high-profile corruption case involving a politically expose person. At 2pm today, the Constitution Review Committee will present their final report to the President. Tomorrow, the National Airline Task Force will present their report to the President,” he wrote.

The Committee, led by Prof H. Kwesi Prempeh, has been gathering national feedback on proposed changes to several parts of Ghana’s 1992 Constitution for months.

President John Dramani Mahama earlier mentioned that the team had briefed him and provided an overview of its initial findings during a meeting held three weeks ago.

“They met me three weeks ago and made a presentation of some of the findings they were going to make. They are quite interesting. They intend to present the final results on December 22. Once the final report is presented, we will make it known to the rest of the nation,” he stated during discussions with the National Peace Council at the Jubilee House on Wednesday, December 10.
