Agradaa finally released after spending 8 months in prison
After eight months behind bars, televangelist Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, widely known as Nana Agradaa, is finally back home.

Her husband, Asiamah, shared the joyous news on Facebook on Tuesday, March 3, writing, “Thank God my wife is finally home.”

Nana Agradaa is set to make her first public appearance later today, joining members of her church for fellowship, marking a return to community life after her release.

The televangelist was originally sentenced to 15 years in prison on July 3, 2025, following convictions for defrauding by false pretence and promoting charlatanic practices.

Her legal team challenged the sentence as overly harsh, and the Amasaman High Court agreed to a review.

During the appeal hearing on February 5, 2026, the court reduced her prison term to just 12 months for counts two and three, citing that the original punishment was excessive.

She was also fined 200 penalty units (GH₵2,400), ordered to refund GH₵1,000 to her two complainants, and given additional fines for count one.

Her return home has been met with celebration by family, friends, and church members.
