Finance Minister to present 2026 Budget Statement on Nov 13
The Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga has informed Parliament that the Minister of Finance, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson has been scheduled to present the 2026 Budget Statement and Economic Policy to Parliament on Thursday, November 13, 2025.

According to the Majority Leader, the budget statement and Economic Policy of the Government of Ghana for the year ending 31st December 2026 is expected to be presented in accordance with article 179 of the Constitution.

He noted that the Budget statement outlines the Government’s plans for next year’s finances.

The Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga said this on the floor of the House when he was presenting the explanatory memorandum on the business statement for the fourth week ending Friday, November 14, 2025.

According to him the Business Committee has taken notice of numerous referrals pending at Committees.

He pointed out that currently 300 referrals have been made to 23 Committees for consideration and report to the House.

In addition, the Majority Leader noted that the five Ministers are expected to attend upon the House to respond to 28 during the week.
